Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam met with and subsequently hosted lunch for Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Dr Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Johari on 5 March 2018. Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Trade and Industry, and senior Sarawak Ministers were also present. DPM Tharman and Chief Minister Abang Johari discussed new areas for cooperation between Singapore and Sarawak, against the backdrop of a longstanding and positive relationship.
