In response to further media reports on Pedra Branca, the MFA Spokesman commented as follows:
"Singapore reiterates the position set out in MFA Spokesman's comments of 20 December 2002. Singapore has always maintained that Malaysia's claim to Pedra Branca should be resolved by reference to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Singapore also reiterates that it stands ready to sign and ratify the Special Agreement which both sides had agreed on in April 1998 to refer the dispute to the ICJ."
