In response to media queries, the MFA Spokesman said:

"The Singapore Embassy in Jakarta is in touch with the Indonesian authorities to verify details concerning the latest blasts in Bali. Singaporeans who are anxious about their friends or relatives in Bali can contact MFA at 63798000 and 63798855, or fax us at 64767302. They can also email us at mfa_duty_officer@mfa.gov.sg."
