                    In response to media queries on the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2216, the MFA Spokesman said:

                    “Singapore welcomes the adoption of UNSCR 2216 on the situation in Yemen.  We reiterate our concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen, and support the call for all parties to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance as well as the protection and evacuation of civilians.  We join the call for all parties in Yemen to resolve their differences through dialogue and consultation to reach a political solution as brokered by the Gulf Cooperation Council and the good offices of the United Nations Secretary-General.”
