In response to media queries on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea's (DPRK) satellite launch on 13 April 2012, the MFA Spokesman said:

“It was regrettable that the DPRK decided to proceed with the launch. We hope that the DPRK will avoid any other action that would violate UNSC resolutions. ”
