In response to media queries about Singapore's response to the request from the Romanian authorities for assistance in their investigation on Dr. Silviu Ionescu, the MFA Press Spokesman said:
"The Ministry of Law has replied to inform the Romanian Ministry of Justice that Singapore will cooperate with the Romanian authorities in their investigation on Dr. Silviu Ionescu to the fullest extent possible under our law."
