In response to queries by the media, the MFA Spokesman said:
"Singapore is extremely concerned by the decision of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. There will be grave repercussions for the situation on the Korean Peninsula and for the international non-proliferation regime."
