Asked to comment on how the Tribunal is expected to rule on 8th October, the MFA Spokesman said:

"We believe that Singapore has put up a strong case. The arguments we have made and the entire provisional verbatim transcript of the proceedings prepared by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) can be viewed from our website at http://www.mfa.gov.sg."
