In response to press queries on the arrival of Prince Ranariddh''s son and other Cambodians in Singapore, the MFA Spokesman said that Singapore''s assistance is based on humanitarian considerations and done with the clearance and concurrence of the Cambodian authorities. Singapore is even-handed about this. Singapore has in fact allowed relatives of both parties to the current conflict in Cambodia to enter Singapore as and when they have requested to do so.
