Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero will be making a working visit to Singapore on 13-14 April 2011. During his visit, Prime Minister Zapatero will be meeting Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Prime Minister Lee will also be hosting a dinner in Prime Minister Zapatero's honour. The two Prime Ministers will together be witnessing the signing of the Singapore-Spain Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income, and the Singapore-Spain Agreement on Cultural, Education and Scientific Cooperation.

Prime Minister Zapatero will be accompanied by Spanish Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Miguel Sebastian Gascón, as well as a delegation of high-ranking Spanish officials.
