Minister President of the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg Stefan Mappus called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on the morning of 22 November 2010. The leaders affirmed close ties between Baden-Württemberg and Singapore and affirmed that there was much scope for expanding bilateral cooperation in the economic field, education, renewable energy, as well as in science and research.


Later in the day, Minister President Mappus called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Both leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral business ties and cooperation in education. They also exchanged views on developments in Europe and Asia.
