Dr Ali Mohamed Shein, Vice-President of the United Republic of Tanzania, will make a working visit to Singapore from 17 to 19 May 2005 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Prof S Jayakumar. He will be accompanied by his wife, Ministers and senior officials.

Dr Shein will pay courtesy calls on President S R Nathan and on Deputy Prime Minister Jayakumar. He will also address the Singapore business community at a lunch organised by the Singapore Business Federation.
