MFA Press Statement: Working Visit by SMS Mrs Josephine Teo to Heilongjiang Province, People's Republic of China, 10 - 12 April 2017

          Senior Minister of State (SMS), Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport Mrs Josephine Teo will make a working visit to Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, the People’s Republic of China, from 10 to 12 April 2017.  SMS Teo will be leading a Singapore business delegation to explore opportunities to deepen cooperation between Singapore and Heilongjiang. 

          During the visit, SMS Teo will meet and be hosted to meals by Governor of Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Government Mr Lu Hao as well as Secretary of the Communist Party of China Harbin Municipal Committee Mr Chen Haibo.  SMS Teo and Secretary Chen, along with Singapore Ambassador to China Mr Stanley Loh and Vice Mayor of the Harbin Municipal Government Mr Shi Jiaxing, will co-witness the signing of four commercial agreements between Singapore companies and their Chinese partners in the areas of logistics, hospitality, education and human resource training.  SMS Teo will also visit various sites to get an update on the developments in Heilongjiang.

          SMS Teo will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Enterprise Singapore.
