The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, will visit Singapore from 5-7 December 2005. He will be accompanied by Minister for Trade Mr Truong Dinh Tuyen, Minister for Post and Telematics Mr Do Trung Ta, senior Vietnamese officials, and a business delegation.
DPM Dung will meet with PM Lee Hsien Loong, SM Goh Chok Tong and DPM S Jayakumar during his visit. DPM Dung and DPM Jayakumar will co-witness the signing of the Framework Agreement on Connectivity between Singapore and Vietnam by Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Lim Hng Kiang and Minister Truong Dinh Tuyen on 6 December 2005. DPM Dung will also meet the Singapore business community to discuss business opportunities in Vietnam.
