Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand is visiting Singapore from 18 to 19 January 2014 to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS).

While in Singapore, Her Royal Highness will be hosted to lunch on 19 January 2014 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee.  Her Royal Highness will also meet Minister for Health and National Research Foundation Board Member Gan Kim Yong, who will be the Guest-of-Honour at the GYSS Opening Ceremony.

In addition, Her Royal Highness will visit the National Research Foundation, and tour the TUM CREATE Laboratory, a joint electromobility research project between Germany’s Technische Universität München (TUM) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).  She will also visit 
Yale-NUS College.
