Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli is currently visiting Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi. MOS Masagos met with South Sulawesi Vice-Governor Agus Arifin Nu’mang, who also hosted dinner. They discussed areas of mutual interest, such as connectivity and infrastructure development. MOS Masagos also met Makassar Vice-Mayor Supomo Guntur. They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation, including in areas like city planning and management.
MOS Masagos is accompanied in Makassar by a business delegation led by International Enterprise Singapore. The delegation comprises companies with expertise in construction, port and waste water management, which are keen to explore opportunities for investment and collaboration in South Sulawesi.
MOS Masagos will travel to Jakarta this evening for a two-day visit.
