Minister of State for Education and Manpower Gan Kim Yong will attend the Tsunami Commemorative Ceremony in Phang-nga Province, Thailand on 26 December 2005 as a representative of the Government of Singapore and guest of the Royal Thai Government. Minister of State Gan will attend a Tsunami Memorial Foundation Stone-laying ceremony at the Khao Lak-Lamroo National Park and an inter-faith memorial service at Phang-nga beach.
