    Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius is in Singapore to attend the Singapore FinTech Festival.  Minister Linkevičius met Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs Dr Maliki Osman over lunch today.  The Ministers reaffirmed the friendly relations between Singapore and Lithuania and agreed that there was potential for greater cooperation in the fields of financial technologies, life sciences, smart cities and education.  The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

    While in Singapore, Minister Linkevičius also met with Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) Lim Hng Kiang and representatives from A*STAR, Nanyang Technological University, and the National University of Singapore.
