Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam who is on a visit to Indonesia from 4 to 5 February 2014, met Jakarta Vice-Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.  They discussed developments in Jakarta and cooperation between Singapore and Jakarta.  Minister Shanmugam also offered to share Singapore’s development experience with Jakarta through the Singapore Cooperation Programme, including in areas such as urban management and good governance.

In addition, Minister met with representatives from various political parties, and other personalities.  They exchanged views on developments in Indonesia and the region.
