On the second day of DPM Teo Chee Hean and the Singapore delegation’s visit to Brunei, they had a morning walk followed by breakfast with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik, Bruneian Ministers and senior officials at Tasek Lama Park in Bandar Seri Begawan, a popular recreational spot amongst Bruneians.

Later, DPM Teo and the delegation had an audience with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Abdul Azim during which they discussed the improving youth links between Brunei and Singapore. DPM Teo and the delegation also engaged in a dialogue with some 80 young Bruneian professionals, civil servants, entrepreneurs, Universiti Brunei Darussalam students, and volunteers. The discussion focussed on challenges facing youths in the region and the role of young people in strengthening our bilateral relations.

DPM Teo and the delegation also called on Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and were hosted to lunch by His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Discussions during these meetings focussed on enhancing bilateral ties, and regional developments. DPM Teo expressed gratitude to both Their Royal Highnesses for their strong, consistent and personal support for bilateral ties.

The delegation members also had separate meetings with their counterpart Bruneian Ministers and senior officials including Communications; Finance; Culture, Community and Youth; Law; Health, and Economy.
