VISIT OF BRUNEI’S

DEPUTY MINISTER AT THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE

TO SINGAPORE FROM 4 TO 8 APRIL 2016

               Brunei’s Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud will visit Singapore from 4 – 8 April 2016 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Distinguished Visitors Programme (DVP).  The DVP, which started in June 2005, invites outstanding foreign dignitaries to Singapore to help forge closer bilateral ties and foster mutual cooperation through the exchange of views with Singapore leaders and officials.  

               During his visit, Dato Roselan will call on Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean.  Dato Roselan will also meet Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli, Acting Minister for Education (Schools) and Senior Minister of State for Transport Ng Chee Meng,  Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Transport Josephine Teo, and Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman. 

               Dato Roselan will also meet senior officials at the Ministry of Finance, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Economic Development Board, Workforce Development Agency, and Centre for Strategic Futures in the Prime Minister’s Office.  He will also visit various community organisations and educational institutions, including MENDAKI, MOE Kindergarten at Punggol Green, the Early Childhood Development Agency and the NUS High School of Math & Science.
