Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Excellency Abhisit Vejjajiva, will make an official visit to Singapore on 22 June 2009 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. This visit is part of Prime Minister Abhisit's introductory tour of the ASEAN countries since he assumed office in December 2008.

Prime Minister Abhisit will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Suthep Thaugsuban, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Kasit Piromya, and senior officials from the Thai Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

During this visit, Prime Minister Abhisit will meet separately with President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Prime Minister Lee will also host Prime Minister Abhisit and his delegation to an official lunch.
