SMS Dr Maliki Osman will visit Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 24 to 26 October 2016 to reaffirm the warm and friendly relations between Singapore and Bangladesh.
SMS Maliki will call on Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and meet State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam as well as State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid to discuss how the two countries can further strengthen bilateral ties. During the visit, SMS Maliki will attend an event to celebrate Singapore Airlines’ 30th anniversary of operations in Bangladesh. SMS Maliki will also visit a Madrasah and meet with Islamic scholars.
SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
