        Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make an Official Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 11 to 14 September 2016.

        In Hanoi, DPM will meet Vietnamese leaders including President Tran Dai Quang, President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, and Minister of Public Security To Lam.  DPM will also be hosted to meals by President Tran Dai Quang and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.  In Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), DPM will meet Chairman of the People’s Committee of HCMC Nguyen Thanh Phong and attend a reception for Singaporeans in Vietnam.  DPM will also attend the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Binh Duong province and meet Binh Duong provincial leaders.

        DPM Teo will be accompanied by Government Parliamentary Committee (Finance and Trade and Industry) Chairman Liang Eng Hwa and Deputy Chairman Cedric Foo, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
