                President of the Republic of Indonesia Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono met with Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong this morning.  ESM Goh congratulated President Yudhoyono on the conferment of the Order of Temasek (First Class) on the latter.  ESM Goh and President Yudhoyono reaffirmed the strong state of bilateral ties.  They agreed that it was important for both countries to maintain and find ways to enhance the good bilateral relationship going forward.  They also had a wide-ranging exchange of views on regional and international issues. 

                President Yudhoyono and Ibu Ani Yudhoyono departed Singapore this afternoon.  They were seen off at the airport by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee.
