Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus met President S R Nathan this morning at the Istana. Adamkus, who is travelling with a business delegation, is on a State Visit in Singapore from 22 - 24 February 2006.

During the meeting, the leaders welcomed closer cooperation in the areas of business, culture and education between our two countries, and discussed developments within Southeast Asia.
