Initiated the proclamation of International Literacy Year (1990)
1991 - 2007 Member of Mongolian delegation to the 46, 49, 50, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61st sessions of the UN General Assembly (Plenary, Third Committee, elections). Successfully promoted the adoption of UNGA resolutions on the UN Literacy Decade (2003 - 2012), Improvement of the Situation of Women in Rural Areas, Role of Cooperatives in Social Development. Prepared a paper on "Security of Small States".
