His Excellency Nguyen Duc Kien, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will lead a 10-member delegation to Singapore for an official visit from 22-26 April 2009 at the invitation of Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mr Matthias Yao.

During the visit, the National Assembly delegation led by Vice President Kien will call on President S R Nathan, as well as the Speaker of Parliament Mr Abdullah Tarmugi. Vice President Kien and his delegation will also receive briefings from the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Attorney-General's Chambers, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Housing and Development Board, Jurong Island and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
