Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Yang Jiechi will visit Singapore from 28 to 29 May 2012 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. It will be Minister Yang’s first official visit to Singapore as Foreign Minister.

Minister Yang will call on President Tony Tan Keng Yam, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean, and meet with Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Shanmugam. Minister Shanmugam will also host Minister Yang to dinner.
