Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make an Official Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 12 to 15 January 2010 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. During the visit, Prime Minister Lee and Prime Minister Dung will co-officiate the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the 4th Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Hai Phong City on 13 January 2010.

Aside from meeting Prime Minister Dung, who will also host dinner, Prime Minister Lee is scheduled to meet Communist Party of Vietnam General-Secretary Nong Duc Manh, President Nguyen Minh Triet and other senior Vietnamese leaders. While in Hanoi, PM will also meet Singaporeans living in Vietnam at a reception hosted by the Singapore Embassy.

Prime Minister Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance and Transport Lim Hwee Hua, Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Manpower Lee Yi Shyan, Members of Parliament Cedric Foo and Liang Eng Hwa, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade & Industry.
