Begum Khaleda Zia, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, will make an official visit to Singapore from 20 to 22 March 2005 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

During her visit, Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will meet with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, President S R Nathan and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Prime Minister Lee and Mrs Lee will host an official dinner in honour of Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will also deliver the inaugural Institute of South Asian Studies Distinguished Visitor Lecture.
