    Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan met Mayor of Antalya Menderes Türel and was hosted to dinner by Governor of Antalya Münir Karaloğlu in Antalya, Turkey yesterday.  Minister also visited the EXPO 2016 Antalya, an international horticultural event.  NParks is participating in the EXPO from 28 September to 30 October 2016. 

    During the meetings, Minister received an update on developments in Antalya and discussed potential areas of cooperation.  At the EXPO 2016 Antalya, Minister visited NParks’ ‘City in a Garden’ exhibition.  This exhibition is a celebration of our efforts over the past 50 years in transforming Singapore into a garden city.  Minister unveiled a plaque and officially opened the exhibition. 

    Minister Balakrishnan will conclude his two-day visit in Turkey and will return to Singapore today.
