    Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make his first official visit to Turkey from 5 to 6 October 2016.  Minister Balakrishnan will visit Ankara from 5 to 6 October 2016, and Antalya on 6 October 2016. 

    In Ankara, Minister will meet with PM Binali Yıldırım, Acting Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mehmet Akif Hamzaçebi, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.  Acting Speaker Hamzaçebi and Minister Çavuşoğlu will also host meals for Minister.

    In Antalya, Minister will visit NParks’ “City in a Garden” exhibition at the EXPO 2016 Antalya.  NParks is participating in the exhibition from 28 September to 30 October 2016.  Minister will meet Mayor of Antalya Menderes Türel and be hosted to dinner by Governor of Antalya Münir Karaloğlu.

    Minister will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
