MFA Press Statement: Official Visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan to the People's Republic of China, 11 to 12 June 2017

                Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make an official visit to Beijing, the People’s Republic of China from 11 June to 12 June 2017 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi.

               During the visit, Minister Balakrishnan will call on Vice President Li Yuanchao and State Councilor Yang Jiechi.  He will meet and be hosted to a meal by Minister Wang Yi.  Minister Balakrishnan will also have breakfast with some Singaporean business representatives based in China.

               Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Communications and Information Chee Hong Tat; Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sam Tan; as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
