MFA Press Statement: Official Visit by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Republic of India, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, 12 to 14 November 2014

        Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu will make an official visit to Singapore from 12 to 14 November 2014 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam.  He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Andhra Pradesh government and a business delegation.

        On 13 November 2014, Mr Naidu will call on Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.  Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam will host Mr Naidu to dinner, and Minister Shanmugam will host him to an official lunch on the same day.

        On 14 November 2014, Mr Naidu will meet Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry S Iswaran.  Mr Naidu will be the Special Guest at the Institute of South Asian Studies’ Ninth International Conference on "The States of South Asia", where he will deliver a keynote address.  He will also visit the Centre for Liveable Cities, Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Port Authority of Singapore, JTC Corporation, Institute of Technical Education, Urban Redevelopment Authority and the Building and Construction Authority, as well as participate in a CEO Breakfast Roundtable organised by International Enterprise Singapore.
