Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo said that Singapore condemns the Bali bomb attacks on 1 October 2005 which has killed many innocent Indonesians and foreign nationals. Minister Yeo also expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of the bomb attacks in Bali.

This latest attack is a reminder that although weakened, terrorist groups remain a threat to our societies. Minister Yeo said that such attacks make us even more determined to fight the terrorists and to strengthen regional cooperation and our social resilience.
