Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called on the President of Timor Leste Dr José Ramos-Horta at the Istana this morning. President Ramos-Horta is on a stopover visit in Singapore from 12 to 13 November 2007. Both leaders re-affirmed the warm and friendly relations between the two countries and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional developments, including the situation in Myanmar.
