Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met with Chief Executive Donald Tsang of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and hosted him to dinner at the Istana on 16 May 2008. They exchanged views on key regional developments and uncertainties in the global environment, including the economic outlook and inflation. Chief Executive Tsang also briefed Mr Lee on the political and economic scene in Hong Kong, and expressed interest to learn about Singapore's NEWater facilities and public health care system.
