            Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam will attend the biennial Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Malta from 27 to 29 November 2015.  The Heads of Government are expected to discuss global and regional issues of concern and review developments in the Commonwealth.

            The theme for the 2015 CHOGM is “Adding Global Value”.  DPM Tharman will also have bilateral meetings with other leaders on the sidelines of CHOGM.

            DPM Tharman will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
