CONSULAR UPDATE ON BALI BOMBINGS
To date we have no confirmed reports of any Singaporean casualty. We have received about 300 calls from Singaporeans concerned about their friends and relatives. While we have contacted and confirmed that most of these Singaporeans are safe, we are still trying to contact another 18 Singaporeans reported to be in Bali.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Singapore Embassy in Jakarta have been in contact with the Indonesian authorities and continue to monitor the situation closely.
