Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has written to Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak to congratulate him on the Barisan Nasional (BN)’s victory at the 11th Sarawak State Election on 7 May 2016. Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan has also written a congratulatory letter to Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Haji Adenan Bin Haji Satem.
