Letter from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif

Dear Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,  

On behalf of the Government, I offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims as well as the people and Government of Pakistan on the brutal terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan.

Singapore strongly condemns this senseless act of terror.  I was especially saddened to learn that many of the victims were innocent women and children.  This attack is a reminder of the need for all of us to continue our vigilance against terrorism, and to remain resolute in countering it. 

Our thoughts are with you and your people.
