                    Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong has written a letter to Mrs Fraser, the wife of former Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Fraser, to express his condolences following the passing of Mr Fraser on 20 March 2015. The text of the letter is appended below.

Dear Mrs Fraser,

                   I was deeply saddened to learn of Mr Fraser’s passing. I had both the honour and pleasure of working with him on the InterAction Council of Former Heads of State and Government. He will be missed. 


                   Mr Fraser was a giant in Australian politics and will be remembered for the strength of his convictions. He was a man of principle and worked tirelessly in pursuit of the best interests of the Australian people.

                   I send my deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
