President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong have sent letters of condolence to the President of Bangladesh, His Excellency Dr Iajuddin Ahmed, and the Chief Adviser, His Excellency Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed respectively on the devastation caused by Cyclone Sidr that struck Bangladesh on Thursday, 15 November 2007.

In their condolence letters, President Nathan and PM Lee conveyed their deep sympathies to the Government of Bangladesh and its people, especially to the bereaved families.
