Governor of West Bengal M K Narayanan called on Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Prof S Jayakumar today. During their discussions, they exchanged views on regional developments and the threat of terrorism. They also discussed extremism in the region. Prof S Jayakumar will be hosting Governor Narayanan to dinner later this evening.

Governor Narayanan is visiting Singapore from 24-29 September at the invitation of the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) as its Distinguished Speaker and a guest speaker at the inaugural Singapore Global Dialogue.
