Former US Secretary of the Treasury and Secretary of State George Shultz, former US Secretary of Defense William Perry and former US Senator Sam Nunn called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong this morning at the Istana. They are in Singapore to attend a Nuclear Threat Initiative meeting on "Energising the Vision and Steps Agenda: Global and Regional Priorities" from 19-20 November 2013.
During the call, PM Lee exchanged views with Dr Shultz, Dr Perry and Senator Nunn on regional and international developments, including the work of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, a non-profit, non-partisan organisation working to reduce threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
