Mr Ruprecht Polenz, Chairman of the Bundestag Foreign Relations Committee of the Federal Republic of Germany called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong this afternoon at the Istana.

During the call, PM Lee and Mr Polenz had a useful exchange of views on a range of issues such as Singapore's experiences in racial and religious harmony, as well as developments in Germany. PM Lee also provided Mr Polenz with an update on Singapore's Chairmanship of ASEAN and developments on ASEAN's integration efforts.
