    The French Minister of Finance and Public Accounts Mr Michel Sapin paid a call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during a working visit to Singapore on 15 January 2015. During the call, the two leaders discussed the economic situation in France and Europe. 

    PM Lee also conveyed his condolences to Mr Sapin for the tragic loss of lives during the shootings and hostage-taking in France last week.

    Mr Sapin will also meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam later this evening.
