HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York who is in Singapore in his capacity as the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, called on President S R Nathan this afternoon at the Istana.

President and HRH Prince Andrew discussed various issues including the regional dynamics in East Asia and the opportunities available to British businesses in Singapore and the region. President also shared with HRH Prince Andrew the state of economic recovery in Singapore.

HRH Prince Andrew had called on PM Lee Hsien Loong yesterday to discuss opportunities for further collaboration between Singapore and the UK.
