Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Human Rights of the French Republic Rama Yade called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo at the Shangri-La Hotel on 23 July 2008. During the call, Minister Yeo and Mrs Yade noted the excellent Singapore-France bilateral relations and discussed ways to strengthen our cooperation. They also exchanged views on the recent developments in ASEAN.

Mrs Yade is leading the delegation for the EU, an ASEAN Dialogue Partner, at the 41st ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference and the 15th ASEAN Regional Forum, as France currently holds the rotating EU Presidency.
